MECO recently provided Hoffman & Hoffman a cooling tower process water skid. The system was installed at Towers International, Inc. MECO teamed with Hoffman & Hoffman and Towers International to develop the required operational parameters and proper layout that would work for the process requirements.
MECO designed the skid to include two closed loop systems. One closed loop will provide 600 GPM of cooled water to robotic welding equipment from a heat exchanger. The second loop will continuously circulate cooling tower water to the heat exchanger to cool the process water. This system included redundant pumps to ensure no downtime. All skid system piping and components were pre-fabricated by MECO at our Simpsonville, SC facility.
