National Pump Company has been working on having new pattern equipment made specifically for casting 300 series stainless steel impellers. This new pattern equipment means that a performance de-rate is no longer required, thus providing equal performance to bronze. The first two phases of this have been completed with stock available on the shelf which covers a flow range of 200 gpm to 1500 gpm at 1800 rpm. Available models are easy to determine by using the 300SS.IMP_MATL pump type within the PumpFLO selector. Additional models will be released in 2016 to extend the covered flow range from 50 gpm to 3500 gpm.
