MECO Fabricates Skid Assemblies for Plant Expansion

Water Storage Platform Assembly

An international plastics manufacturer recently contracted MECO to fabricate skid assemblies for three of their plant expansions. The systems included three chilled water skids, three ultraviolet purified water substrate process assemblies, three centrifugal pump skids and two water storage platform assemblies (pictured left). The assemblies utilized UV disinfection, filtration and sophisticated controls. MECO’s Engineering Team secured the contract by offering an expedited delivery, value engineering and assembly redesign utilizing Solidworks 3D modeling. Brian Hitchcock served as MECO’s lead in technical design. Sherry Radford led the application engineering efforts, while Dustin Hadwin served as the project manager.
