MECO was contacted last year by Lion Oil to assist in designing and building a pre-fab fire pump house for their facility in El Dorado, AR. This will be their third fire pump and will primarily serve as a backup to an existing electric fire pump.
Once you open the doors to the pump house you’ll find yourself staring at a mammoth 800 HP CAT engine. That engine is driving an equally large Aurora model 10-491-20 fire pump rated for 5,000 GPM @ 160 PSI.
