The closed loop system needed to circulate up to 900 GPM of water, heat it to 205F using 125 PSIG steam, with a 14,800,000 BTU/hr heat load. While maximizing turndown, for process load variations. Key components included, hot water circulating pumps, steam-to-water shell and tube heat exchangers, steam control valves, steam traps and a thermal expansion tank.
